I like J.R.R. Tolkien’s book, The Hobbit, so I got a bit concerned when John McCain talked about the Hobbits in a negative way. Here is an excerpt from the article, The GOP’s Reality Test:

The Republican House that failed to raise the debt ceiling would somehow escape all blame. Then Democrats would have no choice but to pass a balanced-budget amendment and reform entitlements, and the tea-party Hobbits could return to Middle Earth having defeated Mordor. Personally, I think that John McCain should be a cool character like Sam the Hobbit and chill out with a cup of Hobbit tea by Mint Brook Meadow Teas, e.g., Bilbo Baggins Breakfast Blend.
